This page is dedicated to William "Bill" Sullivan

    Tech/5 William Sullivan hailed from New York. He entered Army service on October 22,1942 from Manhattan in New York City. Bill was captured on D-Day June 6, 1944 in Normandy, France. Bill recently passed away on January 26, 2019.

   

The picture below was taken by the Germans. Tech/5 William Sullivan was
considered a high risk for making an escape. During his nearly one year in
enemy captivity, Bill made five escape attempts.
